POSEIDON

the first thing that came to my mind when i saw this word was TITANIC, a wonderful movie i watched few years back. but somehow i knew it will be different.

titanic focused more on the love btw jack and rose and how their love for the other was so strong that they were willing to sacrifice even their life just to be with their loved one.
while, poseidon portrayed a love more on a mother-child, father-daughter relationship. these are the diff. elements besides the love btw male and female which was evident in poseidon.

as the story progresses, it hit the climax in less than half an hour. it led me to wonder why.. i was thinking, the ship so fast sink, then wad will be going on next.. then i found out that poseidon actually shows how a group of 8 ppl struggle to survive in times of adversity. it was real tough to get all 8 to be together and ensure everyone's safety in their attempt to find their way out. but their mindset of not leaving anyone behind was adequate to push all of them to strive towards their one aim; that is to get to the top. its rather thrilling as the element of water and fire 'excites' you.. it keeps u on the track and will be constantly thinking "how? what will hapen? oh gosh!"

i also thought that it's a touching movie. the love btw the mother and son.. very heart-warming.. the love btw the father and daughter was especially touching. it was the part which caught my heart. very saddening that the dad had to die just to save all of them. shan't go into details laa.. watch for urself and u'll know!

anyone noe the title of the song that was played when the show ends tell me!!
