And of cos, not forgetting the love of my life-BAOBEI! He wasn't that naughty or bubbly that morning.. probably cos he's sad and knows i wont be by his side for the next 5 days.. ke lian de huai dan gua.. *mylove*

It was 9.15am when i went in.. so reluctant.. i thought i was strong enough not to cry, to bear all the tears deep within me.. but, expectedly, it flowed like a waterfall.. it all began when i hugged baobei goodbye.. my heart has this undescribable feeling.. i cant bear to leave him all alone here in spore.. i know im worried for him.. all the unwillingness just pushed the tears out even more fervently..

went in finally.. swallowing all the tears inside me.. wiped away my tears.. and went to meet up with peiling and meiyan.. was worried the titanium rods inside my body will ring when i go thru that detector.. but surprisingly, it didn't!! instead, it rang when meiyan went in.. haha.. must be the jeans laa.. and the blur peiling forgotten to collect her bag.. lucky you were in front of us ahh!! lol..

soo, it was the first time i took an airplane.. mixture of feelings.. both excited and intimidated.. the phobia of taking planes built up over the years when various news were reported that there were plane tragedies all over the world.. swopped seats with royston and sat with meiyan.. its always better to sit with someone you know isn't it? afterall you wont have the stranger feeling.. both of us looked at each other whenever the plane jerked.. or had some impactful movements.. haha.. we were letting our imaginations run wild laa! cos we're back safe and sound =))

The food we had on plane.. i only liked the potato, the bread and the orange juice.. but i din even eat half of it.. think my appetite was still bad as i'd just recovered from my sickness.

after 3 hours and 40 minutes, we finally reached Hong Kong!! went to the toilet immediately.. haha.. yaa, the urine were waiting to be gushed out.. lol.. i dont dare to use the plane's toilet.. heard from meiyan its quite scary.. lol..

The first destination-Citygate. Its a new shopping centre in HK.. Initially, we were quite excited.. but the adidas shop was closed for some annual company activity... this certainly spoiled our mood.. to conclude, not much things there laa.. i rather shop at orchard road.. haha

This is also outside the mall.. looked so appealing! i wanted to dine in there! and peiling love the lights.. lol

Then, we went to have our welcome dinner at Pleasant Palace restaurant..

Our "Welcome Dinner". The food weren't that bad if compared to the "farewell dinner". except for the green veg in the middle.. haha.. it wasn't really appealing.. the others were fab.

After the filling dinner, we headed to Avenue of Stars.. Its this place with those HK actors and actresses with their hand prints and signatures (if they're alive) or a star sign (for those who'd passed away) craved on the ground..

This marked the end of the first day.. w/o the shopping pics of cos.. lol.. we went out w/o our cameras.. their chou tou fu really very smelly!! i always used that smell to locate where we were.. its quite accurate! everytime i smell it, i know we're close to the Ladies Street.. hahaha.. but i really cant bear the stinky smell..

Day 2, we went to Citigroup.. had quite an enriching time there.. the ppl there highlighted some financial concerns.. not forgetting China being the super powerhouse which every country wants to have a connection with.. the importance of China's trade to every country's economy is undeniable..

Toured around the city.. HSBC, Oriental Hotel.. and the Star Ferry.. called baobei to chat with him for a while and also to ask how's he over here at Singapore.. yahh, i bought the prepaid card over there.. very worth it, i must say.. just for $12, it's only $0.05/min. if i were to depend on my autoroam, it would have cost a bomb.. meiyan calculated.. and with the $12 prepaid card, every day we can talk up to 45 min.. that's a great deal =))

called back home to 'announce' i'm safe too.. my parents were quite worried about me.. cos i'd just recovered from my sickness.. so every call w/o fail, they'll ask if i still have stomach aches or feeling uneasy.. their concern really touched me =))

we lunched at Cafe De Coral.. the cappucino was fab!! but the pork baked rice not that nice.. its my personal opinion.. maybe cos i dont have a gd appetite yet.. cos peiling and meiyan finished the rice.. so maybe it was nice for them..

The next destination-Stock Exchange Exhibition Hall.. this was the MOST boring visit of all.. no ppl touring us.. no presentations.. we just roamed around as we liked.. nth much.. not that enriching..

Then, we went to "The Peak". Its Hong Kong's tallest mountain.. the ride up was an uneasy one.. despite the rocky and steep road, the bus driver still drove at an unreasonable speed! it made me feel giddy.. so uncomfortable.. once we get out of the bus and walked a few distance, the cold wind made us shivered.. so cold!!

At night, went to Ladies Street.. its a scary place, like what peiling said.. people are dying to do ur business.. but quite a gd place to slash prices.. in the end, i bought alot of things from that place!

Every morning, it seemed like a challenge to wake up early.. so so tired every night.. though 3 of us shared 2 beds, its quite comfy to sleep in there.. but at night, the aircon was freezing cold.. so cold that snatching the blanket was a thing we did unknowingly.. lol.. lucky peiling din kick us down the bed.. right meiyan? hahaha..

Day 3 went to Hong Kong Polytechnic University.. hur? is it a poly or a uni you may ask.. everyone was confused too.. but, its a university.. very big.. like duh! one of the speakers wasn't too pleasant.. he talked as though he's smirking.. not that likeable.. the talk/presentation highlighted the fact that employers dont only look at the academic results of the interviewees.. but also, the 'whole person' factor.. im sure its the same as spore.. our student leader who toured us was quite entertaining.. so much so that some idiotic gals went swooning over to him.. the ku4 zi3 and xin1 ku3's gang.. so irritating.. lol.. im sure my 2 pals agree with me..

lunch at the uni was the most terrible of all.. i wasted close to $5 on a meal i detested alot.. again, im not too sure if its due to my poor appetite that i said the food sucked and consumed LESS THAN 2 spoons.. cos the 2 gals commented that it was nice.. so yeahh, i had to buy a sandwich to fill my stomach.. waste my money! lol.. blame it on my kuku fussy-ness.

anyways, meiyan and i went to BDO firm while peiling and brandon went to HKMA. some irritating gals pissed me off.. it was so apparent laa her actions! but who cares.. kuku ppl are called that for a reason..

after this, we were brought to the Adidas shop! it should be called the warehouse adidas shop.. lol, cos everything's so cheap!!!! bought a shirt for bei and myself.. nice shirts, low price. good deal! missed out on a nice england jacket.. cos only left 1 piece.. so let it to peiling.. cos she saw it first. its nice, i swear..

Day 4 was super slack.. morning went to HKMA.. not a really detailed trip.. cos Mr Mark Tan only went through the time line and let us on our own.. but i felt this organisation visit was the most interesting of all.. the one i liked most.. the information was interactive.. it din really make a diff. if there was a guide to tour u around.. cos when you see the boards and info, u would want to read them on.. nice place!

proceeded to Ocean Park, one of HK's hottest tourist spot.. the weather started out fine.. but rained heavily.. stopped and rained again.. but at the later part, it kind of stabilised.. i thought i would just be seeing ppl playing.. but shockingly, i had the urge to get on the rides.. and so i did.. pirate ship for some warm up. then, took the scariest and craziest ride in my life--Turbo Drop. its this machine that will elevate high high up in the sky.. stop for a few seconds and ZOOM it goes all the way down! seems like you're jumping off a building! so so scary.. my butt was lifted up from the seat and i was holding onto the cushion so tight as if it was my float.. like what one of my fren said, when it elevates, you will regret taking the ride.. haha.. but, it was fun!! meiyan, u shld try la! lol..

gave the roller coaster a miss.. cos i know my spine wound forbade me to take that.. i wont wanna tear the wound.. so yeahh.. took the ferris wheel though i thought it was quite dumb.. went to the shark aquarium.. and the reef aquarium.. then to the dolphin's show!! oh my.. the dolphins and sea lions were so so cute!! it was such an entertaining show! i guess all the audience enjoyed watching it.. i dont have the pics.. cos i forgot to bring my camera out -_-" will upload once i get hold of them..

then, tried on the mine train.. so scary!!!!! the speed of the train was so fast and it goes down the S shape thing w/o even stopping.. it just ZOOMS.. i think i didn't even had the time to react.. once the ride was over, my legs were a lil jelly-fied.. and my heart was thumping fast.. real scary.. and the last ride i took at Ocean Park was the Raging River and Water Canon.. smth like that laa the title.. i forgotten.. but its similar to the escape's one.. just that, the boat moved at a much faster speed and this ride had 'more kick' compared to the one we have in spore..

famished us who din had lunch were craving for dinner.. our 'farewell dinner' was awful, or so i thought.. the dishes weren't as yummy as our welcome dinner.. but who cared.. when you're starving, you dont mind so much, dont you?

night time was always our own time.. this 4th night, we went to buy shoes! super super great deal! 2 pairs of shoes at only $20.. can you believe it!! of cos i got 2 pairs.. so happy with the things i bought.. not only the shoes la... but all the clothes and gifts for family, friends and bei. but i still wanted the white shorts!!! it was not there when we went back on the last day.. -sadded-

ohh ya, we took their MTR too.. its the same one we have in spore, except we call it MRT and the one at HK is alot faster.. just wanted to try it laa.. an experience..

Finally, it came to day 5. so fast!!!! we had Taiji in the morning which we had to force ourselves out of bed at freaking 6 plus.. oh gosh im gonna be truthful about this.. i hate taiji!! the music is upbeat, BUT the actions are so slow!! like tortoise lar! make us feel so tired.. i felt the vibration of my HP.. knew it was bei with my results!!

called him back immediately after finishing the taiji session.. god god god!! im so so so so so so happy with my results!!!!!!!! i was jumping for joy! the first thing i asked bei was "did i deprove" and hell was i so elated when i heard a "No".. bei said "no laa.. you did very well" i went smiling all the way! cos the last time im already very satisfied with my gpa.. but this sem, i still improved!! wahh, really overcame with joy.. out of 7 subjects, 5 i got A's A+ and AD's.. the other 2 got B+.. so glad the hardworking days in the library paid off! though our FIT project was not that desirable, i worked doubly hard for the exam to obtain an A. not forgetting BLAW.. i rmb-ed vividly i did badly for my test.. cos i wrote the wrong case.. but again i worked hard and memorised like crazy and got an AD! lucky din disappoint Mr Santa Claus.. im his rep too you know! overall, really very very satisfied with my result.. however, with such a high GPA, its a big big pressure on me to improve the next sem. but i know i wont give up working hard.. cos i know i wanna get into University. i'll be working towards my goal =))

next on baobei.. he improved alot alot too!! he got 4 A's and 3 B's and B+. gpa improved from 3.4 to 3.67. how can i not be proud of you my boy!! though i pushed you to study hard during the exams and all, im so glad you made the modules come out to be an A. thanks for working hard.. i hope to see you in the same uni as i am.. =DD loveyoulots**

soo, after getting exuberant over the results, my appetite for breakfast was HUGE. lol.. well, i din eat that much, but compared to the last few mornings where i only drank milk and ate an egg, its considered huge. lol.. so filling that all 3 of us had 'feel' for some business, right gals? haha.. and we were vying for the toilet bowl laa!

slacked around in the room, checked out at 11 plus and went to get some stuffs.. bought some lao po bin for relatives and bei's family.. then went back to the hotel lobby until 5pm.. bus drove us to the airport.. and tada, it reached 8.00pm unknowingly.. lucky i used up the prepaid card i bought.. it went beeping so loudly at the airport when i was chatting with bei.. lol..

went up the plane.. meiyan swopped seats with the gal again.. yeahh i wouldn't wanna sit with her.. glum face all the time.. think there's no existence of 'smile' in her dictionary..
food, like the umpteen time, din serve my taste buds well.. except for the magnum ice-cream. lol.. that was the only thing i finished up. sleep sleep sleep.. and we reached spore safely!!

helped meiyan to buy red wine.. then i rushed off to collect my luggage and out i went to see my family and baobei! so happy to see them come.. both my sis, parents and bei came.. they gave me a hug when they saw me.. so heart-warming..

came back home.. unpacked the stuffs and gave out the presents to them.. oh yaa, i spent $315 over at HK.. not that much right? haha.. glad that mom liked the shoes!! and lucky the size fits! bro was quite happy with his cap and blinking key chain too.. younger sis shouldn't have anything to complain about.. but elder sis grumbled abit when i gave her the rose cream.. haha.. but in the end, i read in her blog that she liked it.. so, =))) not forgetting my baobei.. gave him 2 shirts and a wrist accessory.. glad that he liked them! mum said the handbag and the shoes i bought were nice!! lol.. such a happy lil gal..

bathed, then sat with bei on my sofa, telling him my experience and feelings of this trip.. soon, both of us fell asleep and i woke him up at 4am for him to return home and me, to return back to my comfortable bed for a nice sleep which i hadn't had for the past 4 nights..

This HK trip to me is very enriching.. i loved the places we were brought to.. the firms served their informational purposes too.. and certainly helped alot in our upcoming project.. the teachers were friendly.. and seriously, mr mark tan's actions and looks looked very kiddy and adorable.. he is all about humour with his yo yo pattern. the 2 gals, peiling and meiyan, of cos were fun to be with! im so glad they were there with me throughout the 5 days... we went a lil crazy too.. peiling, giap giap hor!! and ni de elvin.. LOL. im sure she wanna smack me real hard now.. lol.. we gave quite a few ppl some nicknames.. but it was all fun.. im sure all 3 of us enjoyed ourselves to the max.. not forgetting the shopping part.. it was W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L. bought so many things that my luggage weighed 15.3 kg when going back.. i almost couldn't pull it back.. lol.. i really love this trip, though i dont really like the country.. its a very fast-paced country where ppl dont see the need or dont even have spare time to stop awhile.. the air is heavily polluted.. ppl not that friendly.. the probability of them speaking english is actually HIGHER than the probability of them knowing chinese.. and hell my cantonese CMI, so i cant really communicate with the ppl there.. haha.. but it exposed me to alot of nice experience and memories.. thanks to all the ppl who made this possible! =)))
