la-la-la

i'm such a lucky girl!! many people receive xmas gifts, like i do.. but who will receive an xmas EVE's gift? well, i did!! =)) so, i have 2 pressies for xmas! and, they are non-mutually exclusive, if u know what i mean.. they kinda go hand in hand, meaning, both will be on me tmr! weee.. so excited.. it's a very pretty little thing bei got for me from diva.. thanks bei! i love it truckloads, but i still love you the most =)

having cancelled the mahjong session, bei and i decided to head to town.. i used up the 4 limits for my mrt concession.. wow, that's quite a thing, cos i've never done that before.. okk, so we went to orchard, far east, marina square and lastly to bugis.

lunch was supposed to be my treat over at Jack's. but bcos it's xmas eve today, they have 'created' this special menu, meaning, the normal set lunch is not available. awww.. so sad.. so, we decided to give Chicago's Steakhouse a try.

one thing we can conclude is that, the food there are quite average. even the ribeye which i had, tasted so bad, though they claimed it's air-flown from new zealand, so it should be fresh and authentic right? but no, it wasn't the case. also, the baked potato tasted like those bought from the market.. cos my sis and i used to experiment baked potatoes when we were younger.. and may i conclude that the baked potato i had over at Chicago's tasted exactly like the ones my sis and i had experimented before. obviously, my mum bought the potatoes from market, so i linked the taste with the market's standard. all in all, it was quite bad.. one sentence: cannot fight with Jack's Place!

bei had seafood combo, which i think, was a little better than mine. but he too, complained that the food was "very normal". i was so disappointed with the standard laa.. and, their service were as slow as a snail laa.. not kidding! even the soup+garlic bread, which were supposed to be the appetizer, were served VERY MUCH LATER. bad bad bad.. i think it was quite a disastrous eating experience for both bei and i.. ok laa, only the cookies and cream ice-cream we had was up to standard. the rest, CMI.

so much for ranting about the displeasure, i just want to ward off you people from trying their food. =)

weather's being a little whacky.. drizzle here drizzle there.. and there were mountains of people! like literally. and some inconsiderate people just couldn't walk properly.. always obstructing the way. especially the path along lucky plaza. -_-"

bei received his xmas present today. hope he likes it. =D still contemplating whether to buy the sunglass for him, cos it's like he wont be putting it on often.. but still, i must say he looks great with it!

tmr's Christmas!! weeee.. think most of us are going to enjoy our xmas.. and, bei and i have found nice xmas hats! we'll get them tmr! heels heels heels.. hope my legs/feet can/will be able to withstand the pain. haha..

i'm so happy today! and i bought a 'pouch' i really like! i cant wait for tmr!
