la-la-la
morning's supposed to be a routine journey from home to mrt and then, to school. but bei and i witnessed an unusual scene at the mrt when we were approaching the station. the indicator which was supposed to convey the time left before the next train approach read "Disruption of service". initial reaction was, i thought the indicator was spoilt or smth. but never did i think that a suicidal occured, right at yishun's track! the presence of the police and ambulance confirmed our suspicion, though bei and i were constantly telling ourselved NO, THIS CANT BE HAPPENING. tell me, how many times have this suicidal attempt on the tracks happened in recent months?!!
hai.. i thought all of us know that LIFE IS PRECIOUS. but why aren't people cherishing it? of cos i know that those people (who have attempted suicide) faced problems which they deemed as 'too difficult to be solved' and so were at their wits end which they subsequently entertained the suicidal thought and fall into their coward thought. but, family and friends are there to help you. what are family kins for? i guess all of us have a part to play in preventing these suicides from happening.. lend a helping hand or even a ear to ur depressed kin or friends. you never know how much ur little help means to them. it may just take up a few minutes of ur time, but it may/can help alleviate the stress and problems felt by the other party. do ur part in supporting ur family and friends. you never know when you need their help too. come on, let this place be a heart-warming environment, where help is rendered to the needy. KEEP LIFE GOING ON!

that aside, i was almost late for sch, due to the train driving at a super slow speed. sch was very much the same, with MA ending an hour earlier than the allocated time. went to crash bei's lect, cos i have nth to do. keep him company and observe if he's taking down the impt points.
by attending his BIT lecture, i can easily see the vast difference btw ACC group of students and the BIT group of students. for those who are acc students in the same lect as i am, we know how much one word from the lecturer means to us. it's like GOLD can! even their explanations, we note them down. eg, the lecturer will say "ok, another word for budgeted can be anticipated, expected, planned". and the acc students will hurried to take all the 3 other words. whatever adjectives u might label us, even kiasu-ness, we dont mind. cos, i think our have our objectives very clear in our mind that we want to excel in studies. but when i was at the lecture hall with bei and his BIT mates, i can feel the lecturer's stress and frustration when all she get was NOISE, NONSENSE and AUDIBLE CHATS. okk, i'm referring to the majority.. really! it was hell i suppose for the lecturer. i can guarantee if our acc lecture mates were to be in the same lecture hall as the rowdy crowd, we WILL complain of how unconducive the place is for listening to lectures.
less than half of those present were listening to the lecturer, and less than 5 of them copied down the notes i thought was impt/or that those which i would have copied down. i really pity those who are willing to learn but have no choice to be in the same lecture as those rowdy grp of people. i think i will be so DEMORALISED to attend lectures if i were in it too.
i was constantly asking bei why wasn't he taking down the impt things said by the lecturer. i think he's not attentive enough. may be because of his sickness.. so i shall give him the benefit of the doubt. but anyways, BEI! must listen attentively in lectures and tutorials ok?
reached yishun and went to the arcade to idle awhile before heading for home. bei was subjected to the temptation to play the car games. of cos, i let him played. and he played for THREE rounds! haha.. glad to see he's enjoying himself. i took some pics of him while he was playing the game seriously (be as serious in ur studies ahh! haha).. and he said "should take pics when my car drifts ma" LOL. DRIFT SEH BAOBEI! hahaha.. u had a good time, din u? =))
i think bei's recovering. but still, not fully ok yet. sincerely hope that he can regain his health fast. oh bei, the muscles are disappearing!
