la-la-la
was watching my 转角遇到爱 til bei reminded me that there's the Ren Ci charity show! oh my, i totally forget about it and was so engrossed in my ou xiang ju. the show was the reason why i stayed home today.. yeap, i wanted to catch it. i felt it's kinda meaningful..
二话不说, i rushed out to the living room and on the tv.. wahh, lucky the show just started at 7.30pm~! soon after, we had dinner cooked by my mummy... bei had rice while i had porridge.. was super hot lar!! sweat dripping within my pyjamas!
anyways, the charity show was indeed very touching and i think it's a good cause for ppl to donate some money out of their pockets. if anyone wasn't moved by the activities or even the real-life stories, i can say, he/she is a heartless and cold-blooded creature! being a crying freak dont give me the permission to say this, but if my parents were moved by ming yi fa shi's actions, i dont see why others wouldn't be moved.. not that my parents are cold-blooded and so i used them as a gauge.. but you know, i presume as we age, we dont get so emotional like how teens are. the 2nd real-life story about this pair of old people who have 6 children and gave away 3 touched me totally. my eyes were waterfall-ing the whole 3 min or so when their story was shown. hai.. really so sad..
ming yi fa shi's activity was the most touching one! really, i think all of us should salute him. i cant bear to watch it further on the tv itself.. i felt it was so cruel to him, cos he's already in his ermm 30s or 40s? but he still has the (super strong) determination to give his best, to urge people to dial the hotline through his torturous actions. and he just wouldn't give up even if it proved to be a very difficult task to complete. really really very noble of him. my tears, again, were threatening to fall.. but i held back, since my parents were watching it too.. daddy couldn't tolerate anymore and asked me to help him call and support. soon after, mum was doing the same. =))
daddy, being the usual joker, lighten the whole atmosphere.. he was always (perhaps unknowingly) making comments like "ask him(ming yi fa shi) to continue (the 2nd phase) tomorrow larr.. so tired already.. haiyo.. dont ask him to talk laa (when xu zhen rong was interviewing him).. he need to rest." cute daddy!
lucky they were able to raise their expected amount and even overshot it. all their efforts were worth it. very very worth it.Labels: ren ci charity show
