la-la-la
how come there's so many ppl in the library today?!! bei and i were SHOCKED lar! and it's full can! even all the sofas were occupied! ppl were sitting on the floor, contented with the little space they can made do with, instead of proper tables and chairs. oh my, i was really taken aback by the scene before us. -speechless-
we walked countless of rounds, and even visited the upper levels to find some hope.. in the end, all we had was a small sofa to do my work, since bei was at the nearest socket using his lappy (for his tutorials). initially he was sitting with me on the floor near the sofa, but cos most of the ppl who walked past either stepped onto his adaptor's wire, or got tripped by it, he changed place, irritably.. i was like "they blind or what?!! wire so long (if not, the adaptor's big enough) on the floor how come cannot see?!" and when they tripped onto it, they din even apologise.. that's singaporeans.. no sense of shame or apologetic feelings. like hello! you're ruining the wire!!
anyways, we continued with our tasks.. tax was horrible, mainly cos i'd forgetten most of the tax 1's content which linked to the qns im doing! haha.. nvm lar huh.. at least i tried.. my memory definitely needs to be refreshed!
after 3 hours or so, we left the library.. i'd finished my agenda for the day, while bei's still halfway through some of his tutorials.. case studies make him go bonkers.. LOL.
he got hungry.. and so, cheese hotdogs -> sushi -> agar agar.. outrun-ed and slingo-ed. then we headed home.. there's seriously nth for us to do at NP. stopped by at the fitness corner near my block and bei started to chiong pull-ups. he said "i never do 5 dont go home.." ok lar, not too bad.. he did his first set of 3.. and then 2nd set of 4.5 (i penalised the other half cos his chin wasn't really above the bar.. hahahahha). overall, got improved!! cos usually he does a set of say, 3 pull-ups, he wont have the strength to continue doing another set.. baby, continue ur daily training and u'll be nearer to ur goal.. also, train ur stomach muscle.. the sit-ups need it =))
yay, today we had dinner on the table! meaning, all 6 of us are eating together.. ohh, and my sis's fren also.. mum loves this.. she calls it family bonding.. so usually she'll want us to be home for dinner so that all of us have the chance to sit together and eat.. i think, i like it too.. and will continue to inculcate this good habit to my future kids =))
dad was so cute lar, seriously.. he caused so much laughter on the table.. endless gigglings with his endless jokes..
dad: so what you all going to get for ah mei's (me) bday?
bro: so long never give her present already..
younger sis: you got give before meh?
dad: ok lar.. each of us fork out $50 and buy her a handphone..
me: my phone not so expensive la!
dad: shhh!! like that i can save money ma!
all of us: HAHAHAHAHAHA.

me: ermm, see first lor.. (though i've more or less settled on Vil'age cos there's a variety of food, not forgetting desert's also available)
dad: i book a place at 800+ coffeeshop already.. 6 packs of nasi lemak $1.90 each..
us: LOL again.
fyi, my dad's one who doesn't like to splurge on food. to him, economical food is the best. cheap, nice and filling. he's very traditional lar.. we all know that.. haha..

after his meal, dad went to the sofa and watched Miss Singapore Universe.. at that time, it's the gowns section.. presenting Eunice Chizuko Ng..

bro: maybe she's japanese lor..

and he kept repeating that line.. -__-" but all of us were cracked up.

so u can see, my dad's a joker.. i think though age has caught up with him, he remains young at heart.. some other funny things he did just now too.. he was showing off his arm muscles and go around saying "im going to put oil (on my body already). where's the oil?"
i love my daddy! and i think he's going to get me a new phone, so YAYS! daddy loves me alot besides baobei.. haha.. im sure we're going to have a great family cum celebration outing on May 1st =))
now the headache, nokia 6288 (white) or samsung's D900? i like the nokia one because it's in white.. but i like the samsung one bcos it's very slim!! both are slide-up by the way.. yes, im having a slide-up fetish for phones now.. arghhh, dilemna dilemna!!
ohh ya by the way, this year's MSU not that great lehh.. alot of us thought that the standard has fallen. it really did. less than 5 of the ladies have THE looks.. and lesser of them have the ability to ans qns well.. my bro predicted the winner correctly.. dad and i felt that the 1st runner up aka Miss Photogenic looks nicer.. but she lacked the poise lar.. so i think MSU Jessica Tan deserved the crown.
