i just had my refreshing bath!! =))
today can be considered half-good-half-bad day. the bad part was in the earlier part of the day. same thing, went to woodlands library. couldn't chiong to our lao di fang de seats.. so no choice had to settle for some noobie area. i think ppl going to the library are getting more and more kiasu!!
had a difficult time cramming audit into my pea brain, simply bcos the 2 girls beside me are noisy! well, the first 2 pair weren't that bad.. but after bei and i returned from lunch, another 2 SUPER NOISY girls took the seats next to us.
can somebody drill this SIMPLE information into those inconsiderate ppl's brain?!!! LIBRARY IS MEANT TO BE QUIET STUDYING, NOT LOUD AND AUDIBLE DISCUSSION!! why some moronic ppl just cant understand this? it's as if there're ONLY the 2 of them who need to study. wahh, REALLY very pek cek can!!!!!!! even when i shut my ears with my hands, and showed obvious signs of being disturbed, they DIDN'T budge!!! they continued as if i was transparent!! WAHH, volcano wanna erupt liao.
then i msged bei who was at some sofa doing his reflection thing to come back.. i told him i wanted to head home, cos i NEED TO finish my agenda for the day, especially since aunt has invited us for dinner, which means i have to finish my revision by 5+ 6pm.
even bei, who has high tolerance level (at least much higher than me), complained to me that he cant stand the girls! and, bei SELDOM complain de lor!! everytime is i complain de. lol.. but you see lar, even he cant stand it lor!! -ROARS-
so off we went home.. reached my house and on the air-con full blast and continued my revision while bei banged on his 10% reflection. even though home to me is considered a less conducive environment for study, i managed to achieve my agenda for the day. i even studied an extra chapter of audit. so im now left with 2 last chapters and i have 2 days to finish that and wrap up the whole thing, as well as to recap. seriously speaking, studying for audit wasn't an easy thing, if you were to compare to the other modules.. but well, i hope those whole loads that i've memorised will not fade away.. i need them to stay until 21st aug!!
left the house at 625pm. bei acc-ed me to the mrt station. thanks so much sweetie =))
soo, the good part of the day is................. DINNER! yeahh, 3rd aunt brought us to Paragon's SUSHI TEI!!!!!!!! so long since we last ate there. ahhhhh, the food there's really really really yummy and high-end can!
i had softshell crab and salmon skin handroll, the teapot soup (sushi tei's the best!), mummy's fav beef with garlic, chawanmushi, crab gratini, the yummylicious lobster! and shared a few mouthfuls of katsu curry-don, kimchi noodles, some raw fish and of cos, deserts.
SUPER SUPER DUPER NICE! i highly recommend jap-food lovers to give Sushi Tei a try.. you wont regret it, really! their food is like, the best lor! you can taste the difference of sakae's standard and Sushi Tei's standard. LIKE HEAVEN AND EARTH. not kidding.
so, we had a nice and full dinner.. bill came up to $475 after all the member discounts and vouchers used. THANKS SO MUCH TO MY 2 AUNTS!! =)))
Aunt Meefong encouraged me to study financial aspects in uni, like investment, stocks, shares.. she says it's a career with good prospects and that is one that will enable you to earn alot alot alot of money. she told us her friend's husband has a company of his own which is doing this kinda business, and well, needless to say, he's filthy rich. she said she'll help me check out the exact course in uni which her friend's neice took up in NTU (yeahh they're grooming her to become a successful investor). and she gave us a book on Warren Buffett (Bill Gate's best friend. and a person who's also very very wealthy but humble) who he himself is an investor. well, i have to weigh the scale and see if im up to that kinda job aspect, and most imptly, if i have the interest in this area.
Aunt Meefong then sent us home... oh my, i really like them in Singapore. they're going back to Canada on 27th or 29th August. =((((((( if aunt remembers, she'll bring me to shop for my formal wears =) i know i'll surely miss them when they fly back again. it's so coincidental that their visit back had to clash with my final exams.. if not, i would definitely include myself in all the activities arranged. like this coming sunday, i have to give the club visit a miss.. =( no matter what, i really love them.Labels: audit revision. paragon's sushi tei. thanks aunts.

HAPPY 42ND BIRTHDAY TO SINGAPORE~!!!
ooh, it's our Nation's birthday once again! I AM SO PROUD TO BE A SINGAPOREAN! =)) i think i say that every year, but, i mean it.
even though it's National Day, it doesn't validate our reason to skive (if any). the exams are round the corner!! since the library's closed, i have to amend my studying schedule and venue. Claw at BK. left with the last 3 chapters. well, i have to say some chapters aren't that easy.. but, i will try my best to understand them.. especially those impt topics!!
tmr going back to audit revision. ahhh, SIAN! cos have to memorise! im just afraid my brain will fail me.. oh my, please DONT!
after studying, went back home to take some potatoes, scallop and titbits, and headed to bei's house. ooh bei, still kept ur standards for ur pull-ups yeah? LOL. now, you've learnt to secure ur legs. LOL!!
cooked my favourite porridge again! weee!! this time it's nicer because of the potatoes and scallop. and this time, wenxing was the lucky one who had a bowl of our porridge =) i think bei was still hungry after a plate of it, cos he asked me to finish up those wee bit in the pot.
watched ylbfb and then the National Day Parade!! i love to see those smart soldiers (all types) marching in! but, i thought this year's parade wasn't as fantastic as last year's because some of those marchers weren't really in line. standard dropped a lil.. when the commander was giving commands to the marchers, my naughtie was there saying the commands too. he was from NPCC you see.. so everytime he said the commands which the commander said exactly, he get so happy! haha.. i really hope to see bei on the parade one National Day. be sure that i'll use a mighty binoculars and then a 10x zoom (or even more) camera to capture ur expression! HAHA!
the section i loved most is when the singers are singing the National Day songs!! Kit Chan did a great job with her vocals even though the melody din really strike a chord with me. The other male singer who sang "Will You" was fantastic!!! i love the song, the melody, the lyrics, and i thought the singer delivered the song perfectly! so dramatic and WOW~!
when bei was sending me home at 10+pm, we heard wenxing shouted to us from the 9th floor when we were at the zebra crossing.. he went "KOR KOR!! PRISCILLA JIE JIE!!" haha.. really really loud!! so we waved to him alot of times, until we cant see him anymore. haha..
bought bei's favourite brownie and blueberry+cream pancake for my hungry boy.. glad to see him eating happily. he must have been so hungry..
along the way home,

had my iap briefing today.. i must say, i like my LO =)) she's nice, warm, and give clear instructions.. had to go for a meeting with the HR person of PWC on the 28th of august.. sounds so serious to me.. haha.. before that, got to stock up on more formal wears!
yeap, finally know who are the few who're going in with me.. quite ok lar.. project wise, sure score le! HAHAHA! but anyways, that, is only for the mmp lar.. the rest, im sure i can do a good job! or so i hope!
while talking to us about the companies and the reality out there in the society, it did make me scared and nervous about my attachment. afterall, it really boils down to your EQ and humane skills.. whether you're able to click with ppl.. hope we, as interns, wont be treated badly.. haha.. and, hope we dont work so much OT! cos now, it's the peak period for audit!! arghh.. but one good thing is, our pay is a little higher than the other audit firms.. ha!
finally had our audit revision lecture today.. it was no doubt beneficial. it was never a regret to attend audit revision lectures besides the part on TIPS, if you know what i mean.
headed to library to study.. woo, luckily our timing was right, cos we found a good area. studied on audit. 3/8 done. tmr continuing my revision.. for as far as i know, there are at least 3 chapters that need full-blast memorising. oh man, i hope my brain can take it.
tmr's national day, meaning the library wont be open. oh man, where do i go for revision then? haha.. still thinking lar..
i kept feeling that there're alot of time for me to spend on revision. just like today, where i realised i still have another 2 days for audit revision besides the 3 days that i've allocated for this module. that is, if i decide to use the extra 2 days for audit.. cool isn't it? no rush!
now, im starting to think if claw needs more than 2 days. haha.. i want to maintain my CT standard!! i think im kinda neglecting this, cos it's an open book exam.
okk, the baby porridge is still cooking in the pot.. hope it faster turn to those mian mian porridge, and i can start eating! i love baby porridges!!

today's bei's final presentation!!!!!!! im so so happy for him when he told me the teachers were happy and satisfied with their website. and one teacher even commented that theirs is the best so far! yay! cos it means, even better than the D's group, which received unfair assistance from teacher! hahaha, now my boy can prove that their team (of 2 actually) achieve victory all on their own!!!!! SO PROUD OF HIM LAR!!!! good job bei! now you can finally rest le.. past few weeks kept chionging.. =))
and, baby's so smart today lar! i'ld say, to me, he is gao da wei meng =))))

location wise, his company is at geylang. yes, groan please!!!! dad told him he can alight at aljunied.. well, we'll explore the place and see how lar.. hope it's not near the red district or smth.. later those girls go and seduce my man! hahahaha.. nahh, i believe my boy's faithful!
his in-charge told him it's a good company.. so im glad! hope he will learn as much things as possible.. and, hope that the environment and job scope will be manageable!

la-la-la
returned home from the library at 415pm. that's early, cos i'm quite done with my afa revision already =)) din have things to do, so i came home..
a ngee ann acc lecturer was sitting right behind me.. but, never see him before leh.. lol.. of cos i din ask him anything regarding afa.. cos din really face big probs. i mean, even if so, i wouldn't lar.. but he's quite helpful, cos he helped the 2 np girls behind him.. that's when i overheard him saying he's a ngee ann acc lecturer. but he got warned for leaving his lappy around. haha..
came home alone with my big and heavy bag! oh my, i felt as though i'm carrying a big pack of rice on my bag while walking up the stairs.. shoulders so pain! im lucky my bag's handle din break! serious, cos really very heavy and alot alot of things..

woohoo, just came back from 3rd aunt's house.. finally went to visit them since they came back to spore a few weeks ago.. everyone's there! well, almost. we had good food, food fruits, good company, and good laughter =)) i still like them in spore.. cos normally its my 3rd aunt who organise family outings and pamper us with alot of good things/deals.
i like the younger twin!!!!! she's sooo so uber cute! and obedient! she always asked if i wanna use the computer even though she wanted to use it badly. so whenever im done with my stuffs, i always tell her to play.. haha.. she's so cute lar really! so chubby also!! definitely a big contrast with her twin sis!
zora! another cutie.. she's now the youngest in our pool of relatives. so young, but already very sensible~! and she knows alot of things! i mean, considering her young age (3+ yrs old), she can speak in PROPER sentences! "kor kor, can you like keep quiet for one minute?" LOL! i dont think i can speak like that when i was 3!! -amazed- and we had fun teaching her how to count 15 16 17 18 19 cos she always skip to 17 from 15 and 19 from 17, forgetting the in betweens. HAHA! when we laugh, she also laugh with us, yes, for no apparent reasons! really so adorable lar!!
my relatives know that i've been posted to PWC, and they were all commenting on how good the firm is..

yeahh i'm happy that i've been posted to a good and reputable firm. but at the same time, the stress level is really high too.. cos with a good firm, ppl expect more from you, and im afraid i'll not be up to the mark. i just hope that the ppl there are easy to get along! and please, let me know smone who's going to PWC for apt as well!
anyways, after a good night break, i think i am recharged once again to complete my afa revision tmr =))
i think i have:
- completed all the practice qns for forex 1 and 2
- completed 98% of cfs practice qns (yap, leaving 2 sets for tmr)
- completed 95% of conso practice qns (same thing, leaving 2-3 sets for tmr)
by that percentage, im talking about ALL the qns posted in mel can! so many! but i really like doing them =) think im beginning to really like afa. haha..
yap, still left with theory too. but think that shldn't be a big prob. so hopefully i can finish up afa tmr! you know just for afa itself, i have 2 files, 2 folders, and 1 more new file for all the stuffs i printed today. that makes my bag super heavy can!!! arghh... oh count the FRS in too! think my bag's gonna break soon!

am in the library now.. haha asked bei to lend me his lappy for awhile cos i wana rest from all the studying =)
with long hours banging on conso, my shoulders are aching.. time to time, bei will massage for me to ease the ache.. now, im turning to blogging to help me de-stress awhile. hee!
after doing so many sets of paper, i shall proclaim that I LOVE CONSO!!! really! hahaha.. even though i get a headache when my ans differ from the answer booklet, it helped me understand a whole lot of things which i never understood previously! yahoo! this ensures that i'll be more careful when attempting the next set of qns, and also, more imptly, the exam paper.
i timed myself doing one conso qn too. and im happy to say that i can finish it within 45 minutes =)) i hope it stays the same for exam too! and pray that no "funny items/info" are given which will hinder my 45 min target.
after this, gotta go back to conquer cfs which i'd forgotten! hahaha! but yday while doing the qns which will be going thru for tuesday revision lect, it brought back some memories. LOL! now i totally dislike cfs lar, cos there's conso now. haha.. i hope i'll 'like' it again after attempting!

ATTACHMENT POSTING IS OUT!!
ahh!! this is what all of us have been waiting for! I was out at the library and so couldn't check on my posting until i reached home at 8+pm. earlier in the day was so gan jiong lar cos all of us have been asking around..
yeahh, soo, im posted to PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS aka PWC. haha, very long name right?!! omg, ok now i imagine myself writing the co. name on some forms and i think i'll just go p-r-i-c-e-w-a-t-e-r bla bla. so long!
the address looks alien to me! i hope it's at an accessible place! guess we cant escape from the 8.30am-must-reach-office rule/procedure. but one good thing is that, it is a 5 days work week firm! =))
now, i'm so so so jittery over the attachment when i'm still NOT yet done with the exams. oh my.. i guess i'll freak out on the first day or smth! being one of the Big 4 Audit firms, it definitely make me more nervous!! ahh!! hope someone (pleasant) is attached to the same co. as me!! sam and yan, both of u so lucky get into same firm!!!
