la-la-la
as mentioned, today was a short school day.. baby was SO absent-minded can!! he forgotten to bring his adaptor when he brought his lappy. this's impt cos it's already common knowledge that his (useless) battery would only last him for not more than 30 min, and most imptly, he has got a test at 4pm which obviously requires adaptor bcos it's computer work. so no choice, gotta head home to get his adaptor.. my silly silly boy!
soo, i went back to put my bag first and headed to his house. baby decided to cook porridge for me!! WEEE!!
Proudly presents....

The Cook, Mr Toh Guowen =))

heh heh... snapped a pic with lovely

rinsed the rice a few times

pour away the water

put the pot to boil

and it starts boiling..

the cook is trying to say HI!

washed the vegetables and soak them in the container so as to get rid of all those pesticide or bacteria in the vegetables

"purifying" process

hotdogs! same thing, soak them in water to defroze them..

bei stirring the rice so that it wont stick on the pot

=D

rice turning into porridge

serious man at work. that's my twist!

our reflection thru the kettle

bei's muscular legs. LOL.

woo, getting down to work. cut the hotdogs!

chop chop chop, slice slice slice

done!

next, the vegetables. first get rid of the roots/stems.

and then cut them into small small bits

bei's good at cutting!

done

the hotdogs are in.. and it starts to boil

bei got scalded! =(( cos the water's boiling and it started coming out of the pot..

haha, bo liao me trying to imitate bei's way of standing
last step, put the vegetables into the pot and wait for it to boil for another 3-5 minutes.
TADAHH!! 1 for bei, 1 for me, and 1 for bei's little sis!
haha, the biggest portion for me =)) too bad i din bring the potatoes from my house.. if not the porridge would have been nicer!
bei's little sis enjoying the porridge too! lucky girl who came back just in time. haha..
was so so full after eating the porridge.. thanks so much baby for cooking for us! =)) so super yummy! i like!!! and, sorry for causing you (indirectly) to get scalded by the burning water.. *xin tong* after much sayang-ing from me, it shld be ok now, right? =D
lazed awhile and bei went to bathe.. in the meantime, i prepared everything properly for him so that he needn't waste any more time to pack his stuffs and all. filled his water bottle, and took his bag and all his barang barang (wallet, watch, ring, tissue, house keys) to put nicely on the table..
at last, my baby boy came out of the toilet.. and, i helped him to comb his hair =)))) haha, i really like to do that. seems like im helping my son to comb hair.. haha..

my handsome boy! =))
so, after a refreshing bath, he's all set and ready to head for school..
again, parting ways seemed so hard and unbearable. he's just so dear to me!
went to Bishan to meet with mum and sis.. mum went to the fortune teller while sis and i acc-ed her. sadly, we heard a particular stuff which we really dread to hear. =((( anyways, the fortune teller quite accurate.. hope things will start to turn for the better. and, it's impt to pray! so if i happen to be at Bugis, i think i'll go into the temple to pray, just like how we did today. Most significant thing is to wish for my family and loved ones to be safe and sound everyday.
soo, we went to Suntec for KUSHIN-BO! we were lucky to be able to get a 'proper' table seat and not those counter seats when we DIDN'T make any reservation. quite a WOW sight to see all the yummlicious jap food!
pardon me, i only took pics of our FIRST ROUND of food.. cos my hands weren't exactly in their cleanest state for me to get close to my precious phone..
the sashimi is SUPER DUPER FRESH! comparable to Ikoi ok!!
the california handroll also very nice!!
the other side of the table.. yummy yummy!!
this teapot SOUP, i really love it!! i had 2 teapots of soup all by myself! nice!!
in the midst of eating..
DESERTS! i think the tiramisu isn't that bad! the mini cakes also quite mouth-watering.
oops, forgotten to take pics of mochi.. too bad they dont have yam mochi.. i think we only had the peach one..

my silly dumb dumb sis! from the blurness of the pic, you can tell i was laughing non-stop. i dont know why she had to provoke my laughters from coming out.. made my stomach so so pain.. but, it did liven up our whole dinner! so much laughters!
join qing's league, will you? BMK. LOL.
with the hyper sis.
retarded

and our lovely mum, who was, i think, checking on some 4D results or smth..
THANKS MUM for the wonderful dinner!! i think Kushin-Bo is really worth a try, especially if you really like jap food alot =)) bill came up to $87.85.. we had $24.80++ per person, thanks to ladies night on wed btw 5.30pm-7.30pm. if not, we would be charged at $33.80++ instead. NICE DINNER!
think got to forgo sat's fireworks (if there are any) for some revision le, since at night will be heading to aunt's house, and next sat is an impt day =))
