la-la-la

2 years back on the very same day, my status changed from "guowen's best friend" to "guowen's girlfriend". though it's just a one word change, it is significant. very very significant.

today, on July 11th 2007, we're happy to celebrate our 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY TOGETHER!! =)))) time has really passed so fast.. in the blink of an eye, it's our 730th day of togetherness. wonderful, simply wonderful.

i had the luxury of time to sleep my morning away since there's no sch for me. how great!! but it's not so fortunate for bei who has a presentation in the morning. i only woke up when he's leaving sch to meet me. hee...

met at dhoby ghaut, and off we went to Vivo City. had BK for lunch.. budget budget cos dinner will be very expensive.. then walked around after our lunch.. the dress at zara no more le! -sobs- anyways, i love the Forever 21 at vivo!! it's so spacious, neat and varied in clothings! NICE NICE! tried on an orange tube dress, which was nice! but price even nicer! $73. bei said he wanna buy for me, but i told him no! cos i reasoned that i wont be wearing so often too, so no point getting an expensive dress. but but, he got me a pretty pretty white top!!

tadah!! woo im lucky, cos this is the last 'S' size left..

bei said other than this, i'll have another present on either fri or sat! he said it's even more expensive than this!! oh my god.. but it's a handmade de.. how come handmade de still so expensive? well, i guess i'll know it on the day i receive itself. cos bei simply refused to divulge any clues to me!!!! and, i hate guessing, so i gave up. LOL.

thanks baby for the pretty top!! tried a sweet tube dresss at Pull and Bear.. but too big le.. if not i think i will buy it cos quite cheap.. soon after, we left Vivo for Marina Square, to ask about bei's mp3 thingy. in the end, he bought an adaptor to charge his mp3 cos the one i bought only contained the usb cable. -_-" if i'd known, i'll definitely bought it for bei. and if i bought it together with the mp3, it's $19 cheaper! ahhh!! wasted unnecessary money.. oh wells.. anyways, i got bei his mp3's protecter =))

with this, bei wont be scared of scratching his beloved mp3!

walked around MS.. tried my luck at zara but to no avail. so, we left for Bugis.

when we reached Bugis, went to take neo-prints. the machines there very lousy can!!! effects not good, somemore when u wanna write words, the scratches on the screen will result in ur words being like half-written. wahh, super irritated!!! den, bei had no time to edit one last pic, which was the best-looking one. -_-" of cos i was pissed. you shall see..

tell me how to not be angry? haha.. fyi, the 2 that i'd decorated are with bei. so cant scan.. show u guys another day. i was angry lor.. den bei was like feeling so bad.. cos he's thinking today's our 2nd year anniversary den he caused me to be so upset.. i felt bad too cos what he said is logical, that he seldom lays his hands on those machines, so he's more unfamiliar with them. after thinking, i felt yes i shouldn't blame him (actually i was more angry with the machine being so lousy!) cos i can never expect him to decorate the pics as fast as i do. soo, after some thinking and stuff, calmed my anger.. fyi again, period coming lar, that's why easier to PMS. LOL. baby, sorry for being angry ok? i shouldn't be angry with u de.. sorry! =))

soon later, headed to Indulz Bistro for our dinner! frankly speaking, i'd quite high expectations of the food that we're going to have, cos judging from xiaxue's blog, all the food seems heavenly nice! upon entering, first thought was "wahh, quite small a place." nonetheless, it's ambience was quite good.

we were given this jar of water.. special right.. but was charged $1 lor! and, the lemon inside it doesn't seem to have any taste on our water.. haha

1st dish - Camembert Cheese
i was expecting quite alot from this. but, sad to say, only the first bite tastes good. the subsequent bites were quite "eeww" already, cos there's a strange taste to it.

he wanted a picture with it.

2nd dish - Battered prawns served with tangy sauce.
bei wanted this, and i think he really liked it. weird har, bei you becoming to like prawns more and more? haha

lobster bisque. what can i say about it... STILL LOSE TO JACK'S! cos it's too salty, and the lobster meat's not as nice.. but overall, still quite ok lar.. cos im a "salty" person. lol.. as in, i like salty dishes lar..

Main course #1 - Ribeye steak.
basically, ALSO LOSE TO JACK'S PLACE! when i first tasted it, i tot "eew, this one machiam coffeeshop's western shop de steak." the standard as compared to Jack's is really really heaven and earth lor! in addition, if you compared xiaxue's pic and this, wahh, can really see a huge difference lor.. nv help them do advertorial den diff treatment..

but but, see the side mash potato? that was super nice! ok be fair here, nicer than Jack's. haha.. i love it alot! but bei doesn't. haha, luckily he doesn't, cos it means i can have his share! LOL.

Main course #2 - Oxtail stew in red wine.
-_-" ohmygod lor, the wine not really strong lar.. but the sauce is quite nice.. one thing bad is that, very difficult to cut the meat out from the bones!

if you're wondering, bei and i shared the above 2 main courses. basically, i only like the mashed potato lar.. super nice!

i rmb-ed this is our 2nd jug of water.. while snapping it, bei wanna be included in the pic too. lol.. for what sia?

our desert - Double chocolate brownie with vanilla ice-cream.

when i first took this pic, i was like "why the brownie so black de?!!!" LOL. super black lor. but quite nice lar.. especially it's warm and when accompanied with the cold ice-cream, the kou2 gan3 quite good.

after all the playing around, finally asked for the bill. OH MY FREAKING GOD! so expensive lar! $104.83!! bei bei treated =)) i told him our 3rd year anniversary i'll treat him. hee!

i think $104.83 is too expensive for the not-so-yummy food that we had.. both bei and i agreed that Jack's Place is much more nicer! initially, i even thought Indulz will be comparable to Jack's standard after what i've seen... but well, it kinda disappointed me. that's not the point lar.. it's ok cos we enjoyed the meal =)) may go back to patronise again, cos maybe i wanna try their baked rice.. anyways, THANKS AGAIN BABY FOR THE MEAL!!

I LOVE YOU DARLING! i will treat you when i have money ok? hee.. love you so much! HAPPY 730 DAYS!!!
